Tony Dibbin

From hospital radio at 9 to Atlantic 252 and Gold breakfast, Tony Dibbin now voice tracks twelve shows a day for stations from the UK to Asia and New Zealand.

Tony Dibbin started on hospital radio at nine years old before landing evenings at Swansea Sound and then his dream job at Atlantic 252. A run of moves followed, taking in Tenerife, Kent, Oxford, Wolverhampton, Swindon and Bedford, before twelve years in London with GCap and Global, where he went from Gold's breakfast presenter to its only presenter and then its programmer, growing the audience by 200%.

His highlights include opening the Oblivion ride at Alton Towers alongside his radio hero Dr Fox in 1998, and the life-defining call from Richard Park inviting him to join Gold after years of sending him demo tapes. A summer covering Andy Crane's show on Greatest Hits Radio later earned him the verdict that he'd made the best radio of his career.

Today Tony voice tracks twelve shows a day alongside a syndicated breakfast show, and consults on and programmes stations around the world. A single email through Voicetracker Hub, which he joined on day one, put him on six stations across Asia, and he now broadcasts everywhere from Colchester, where he switches on the Christmas lights every year, to Oamaru in New Zealand, a town he has never visited.

If you cut me in half, it's radio. That's everything I am.
